🧾 Refund and Cancellation Policy

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds apply only to services/products explicitly marked as refundable at purchase.
  • Requests must be submitted within 5 working days of the original transaction date. After 5 working days of original transaction date, refund may not be allowed.
  • Service/product must not have been fully delivered, accessed, or consumed.

Task Payment Refund Policy

  • Refunds for task payments are limited to the amount originally paid for the specific task. Under no circumstances will the refund exceed the task payment amount.
  • To qualify for a refund, a claim must be submitted within five days following the completion of the relevant task or the corresponding task payment, whichever occurs later.
  • If you wish to request a refund, you can do so by contacting customer support. Alternatively, you may submit your request through email or by using the chat interface.

Cancellation Terms

  • Cancellations must be requested via email addressed to info@taxhelponline.in before the service start date or within the cooling-off period which is 5 working days.
  • For subscriptions:
    • Cancelling before the next billing cycle prevents future charges.
    • No partial refunds for unused time unless explicitly stated.
    • All monthly subscriptions are refundable if requested within 5 working/business days of successful payment for the given subscription.
    • All yearly subscriptions are refundable subject to the following conditions. For yearly subscriptions, the used portion (calendar days not working days) is subtracted from the total amount. The refund is calculated as follows. The calculation is pro-rata basis. For instance, if the yearly subscription is requested in 'X' calendar days of the subscription, the refund = ((365-X)/365) * 100% rounded off with the following general rounding rules:
      • Fractions ≥ 0.5 → Round up to the next whole unit.
      • Fractions < 0.5 → Round down to the previous whole unit.
      The above refund comes to 90.41% rounded down to 90% if X is 35 which means if you cancel your subscription and ask us for a refund within 35 calendar days, we will refund 90% of the amount.

Definition of working days

  • Working days are defined as days on which there is no bank holiday, or a public holiday, or a weekly off (a Saturday and a Sunday) or any other hindrance to the normal working of our staff.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Customized services, downloadable digital products, and one-time consultations are non-refundable.
  • Services involving third-party integrations or licensing fees may be exempt from refunds.

Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.
  • A confirmation email will be sent once the refund is initiated.

Disputes and Exceptions

  • For billing errors, contact us within 5 days of the transaction.
  • Exceptions may be granted for technical failures, duplicate charges, or service non-delivery.
